Funeral services will be held today at 1:30 p.m., at the Riverside Cemetery, Spencer, with the Rev. Gordon Watson.
A Masonic graveside service will be performed by Evening Shade Lodge #312 A.F. and A.M., Spencer.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Spencer.
Raymond Edgar Kabrick, the son of E.O. and Annie Volk Kabrick, was born April 17, 1899, in Clay County. It was in Spencer he received his early education.
He married Bernice Adams and following her death in 1938, he married Gertrude Callahan on April 18, 1939, in Marshalltown. Following their marriage, the couple made their home in Waterloo for two years before moving to Watertown, South Dakota. In 1960, they moved to Colorado and lived there until Mr. Kabrick retired in 1963. They moved to California in 1980 and moved back to Iowa in 1993.
Mr. Kabrick worked for the Minneapolis Moline Company selling farm machinery.
He had been a member of the Masons since 1941
Mr. Kabrick was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife and two brothers.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Raymond Kabrick and his wife Jackie, of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Donald Kabrick and his wife Dixie, of Graettinger; and William Kabrick and his wife Lorraine, of Minneapolis, Minnesota; one daughter, Nancy Kabrick Burvant of Cameron Park, California; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and two brothers, Walter and Dale Kabrick, both of Spencer.
