Donald (Pete) Adams, 62, of Spencer, died Wednesday, September 19, 1990.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at First English Lutheran Church in Spencer. The Rev. Keith Kohlmeier and the Rev. Chris Gugel will officiate.

Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery, Spencer Military services will be by the Glen Pedersen Post No. 1, American Legion, following the committal service.

Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Donald (Pete) Adams, 63, will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at First English Lutheran Church in Spencer with the Rev. Keith Kohlmeier and the Rev. Chris Gugel officiating.

Burial will be at North Lawn Cemetery in Spencer.

Casket Bearers: Jim Adams, Russell (Butch) King, Butch Noethe, Mark Mills, Bob Rusk and Ned Adams.

Honorary Casket Bearers: Tom Cornwall, Bob Keir, Roger Hoberg and Kendall Keir.

Military services will be by Glen Pedersen Post No. 1 of the American Legion, Spencer.

Mr. Adams died Wednesday, September 19.

The son of William Russell and Hannah (Siefken) Adams, he was born December 24, 1926 in Rossie. His childhood years were spent in that community and it was there that he received his early education. After graduating from Rossie High School.

Mr. Adams entered the military and served with the Army.

On December 18, 1949, he married Madalyn Bendlin at First English Lutheran Church in Spencer. Throughout their marriage they have lived in the communities of Spencer and Royall, where he had been engaged in farming.

Mr Adams was a longtime member of the First English Lutheran Church in Spencer.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Mr. Adams is survived bu his wife; three sons, Bryan and his wife Lori, Doug and his wife Kelly, Rick Adams and Karen Anderson, all of Spencer; one daughter Marcy Adams of Ames; one grandson; three brothers, Tom of Rossie, Harry of Wahpeton and Bill Baldwin of Barnum; and three sisters, Helen Mills of Spirit Lake, Marian King of Orange City and Lucy Rusk.
