Word was received here this week of the death of H.H. DuBois at his home in Harrold, South Dakota, Sunday. The remains were brought here Monday evening and the funeral services were held in the M.E. church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30. The esteem Mr. DuBois was held in the country north of town where he lived twenty-five years was shown by the large number that attended the services Tuesday afternoon. The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. F.W. Wilson, a former Peterson pastor, now of Marcus, and interment took place in Oakland cemetery. Mr. DuBois was a civil war veteran and a member of the local G.A.R. VanDavis Post.
