Vera Elizabet Anderson, 880, of Webb, died Tuesday, September 21, 1999 at the Spencer Municipal Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, September 24, 1999 at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Webb with the Rev. David Doraisingh officiating.

Casket Bearers: Zachary Rust, Benjamin Anderson, Dale Woodford, John Anderson, Charles Anderson and Leslie Alexander.

Burial will be at the Garfield Cemetery, Webb,

Vera Anderson, the daughter of Arthur and Mae (Anderson) Woodford, was born March 5, 1919, in Webb. She received her education in the Garfield School and graduated from Garfield High School in 1937.

On March 10, 1938, she married Clarence Anderson in Spencer. Following their marriage, they lived near Webb, where they farmed for more than 45 years. They moved into Webb in 1975, and lived there ever since.

While living in Webb, Mrs. Anderson was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, various church circles, the UMW and the Kraft club.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband; one son, Richard Anderson and his wife, Louise, of Yankton, South Dakota; one daughter, Linda Rust and her husband, Robert, of Webb; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth Woodford and his wife, Lois, of Webb: three sisters; Dorothy Weber; Mary Alexander and her husband, Leo, all of Webb; and Eleanor Essick and her husband, Robert of Spencer.

The Warner Funeral Home of Spencer in charge of arrangements.
