May 26, 1995Sadie Mae Anderson, 87, Webb, died May 26, 1995, at Longhouse Residence, Spencer.
Funeral services will be held today at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Webb, with the Revs. George Henriksen and Kent Schmidt officiating.
Casket Bearers; Burdette Fogelman, Russell Essick, Jerry Enderton, Bob Speed, Harold Skelton and Delbert Williams.
Honorary Casket Bearers: Larry Graves, Jack Sylvester, Raymond Ball, Ken Essick, Pat Gibson and Charles Anderson.
Burial will be at Garfield Cemetery, Webb
Sadie Mae Anderson, the daughter of Loren T. and Lulu M. (Teachout)Hughes was born May 16, 1908 in Caleta, Illinois.
Her family moved to the Webb area in 1909 where she received her early education.
On September 5, 1928, she married Martin W. Anderson in Webb and made their home in the Webb community. They farmed until 1944 and moved into Webb.
She was a member of the First Baptist in Webb, where she was a Sunday School teacher, Sunday School Superintendent and a member of the choir. She was also a member of the Women's Missionary Society.
Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sisters; Bessie and Gladys.
She is survived by one daughter and her husband, Bonnie and Lowell Merrill of Hawarden, Iowa and eight grandchildren.
