Funeral Services for George Evans Held Thursday

As a father and husband he was kind and loving, having his family's welfare always uppermost in his mind.

He made friends readily and everyone that knew him respected and esteemed him. For these things he will always be remembered and his loss will be mourned deeply by all.

Having been an ex-service man, the funeral services were conducted in military fashion. Loud speakers were used at the services to accommodate those who were unable to get inside the church. His [missing text] was said to have been one of the [missing text].
