Leland Henderson, sixteen year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Henderson of Dickens, Iowa, and a junior student of the Dickens high school, prominent in school activities, passed away Sunday evening, May 24, 1931, at the home of his parents after an illness of ten days. Death was caused from pneumonia.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at one-thirty o'clock at the Henderson home and at two o'clock at the Methodist church in Dickens, Rev. Peterson, pastor of the church, in charge. Interment was made in the Dickens cemetery.
He is survived by his parents, a brother, Robert, three sisters, Mrs. Katherine Sedgley, Gladys and Pauline, all of Dickens and a niece, Janice Sedgley, beside other relatives and many friends.
