Charles Miller of Spencer Is Taken by Death

Charles C. C. Miller, 60, a resident of Spencer for the past three years, died Monday afternoon at 5 o'clock at his home in the Inn Apartments. The cause of his death was a stroke suffered a week ago.

Mr. Miller was born at Davenport, Iowa, May 21, 1876. With Mrs. Miller he came to Spencer from Omaha, Neb., to make his home.

He is survived by his widow, one daughter, Mrs. S.S. Rygh, 1465 North Main street, Spencer; three sisters, Mrs. Fred Lischer, Mrs. Ella Kiechler, and Mrs. Will Weiss all of Davenport; one brother, George Miller of Los Angeles, Calif., and one grandson, Robert Rygh of Spencer.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Episcopal church, with Rector DeVere LaV. Sheldamine in charge. Burial was made at Riverside cemetery.
