The death of Daisy Bowen of which we made a short mention last week was a sad blow to her parents and little friends. She was only sick a few days and death was caused from heart trouble, from which she has been a sufferer for some time. Short services were held in Des Moines, after which the body accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Bowen and Miss Bowen was brought to this city Thursday. The funeral was held Friday at two o'clock at St. Stephens church, Rev. Stillwell reading the services for the dead. The remains were interred at Riverside cemetery. Daisy Bowen was born April 23, 1889 in Algona and died May 26, 1903. Of an unselfish and affectionate nature she was dearly loved by her playmates, and will be sadly missed in the home and among her friends.
