William Dale Price, the son of William and Vera (Falline) Price, was born on October 19, 1930, in Spencer, Iowa. His childhood years were spent in Spencer where he received his early education. On November 18, 1950, William entered the military, serving in the United States Navy. After serving in the Navy for 4 years he was honorably discharged in September 7, 1954.

On August 12, 1957, William married Arla Huntress in Jackson, MN. Following their marriage, they lived in Spencer. William worked at the Spencer Ready Mix, Spencer Foods and Freeburg Construction Company and other jobs until his retirement in 1987.

He was a member of the First Christian Church, V.F.W., the Moose Lodge and the Eagles. William enjoyed playing bingo, visiting with friends and watching Judge Judy.

William passed away on March 13, 2007 at Northshire Residence at the age of 76. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife in 1977; one brother and two sisters.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Earl Price and his wife, Vicki of Spencer, IA; one grandson, Michael; four sisters: Ruth Ann Robinson of Okoboji, IA, Gloria Tattman and her husband, Elwin, Lilly Mae Manley and her husband, Glen and Phyllis Murray and her husband, Gene all of Washington State; one brother, Howard Price of Washington State; other relatives and many friends.
