Marjorie F. (Toni) Northnagel, the daughter of Anthony and Marguerite (Doyle) Rubes, was born on March 9, 1922 in Spencer, Iowa. She received her early education in Spencer and graduated from Spencer High School in 1939. While in high school, she was active in the band, music groups and a member of the Hi-Astonisher staff.

Mrs. Northnagel was a resident of Albuquerque for 51 years, as both a homemaker and career secretary, retiring from Kirtland Air Force Base.

Marjorie was an avid reader and liked to study law. She was a great cook and baker and loved to spend time in her garden tending to her roses. She loved her dog, Lefty and her parakeet, Elvira.

One of Marjories fondest memories was spending time with her family and friends at her 80th birthday party.

Marjorie peacefully passed away on December 8, 2006, at the Whitney House in Albuquerque, N.M. at the age of 84. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Marian Swan, Veronica Green, Mary Ellen (Sue) Renk and brother, John Rubes.

Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Jean Anne Richards of Spencer, IA; brother, Joe Rubes and wife, Marilynn of Rogers, AK; brother-in-law, Hans Renk of Albuquerque, NM; her daughters, Victoria Burkhardt and husband, Richard of Cocoa Beach, FL, Nancy Jenkins of Albuquerque, NM; her grandson, Scott Jenkins and wife, De Anna of Camp Meeker, CA; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Marjorie was a warm and compassionate lady known for her generosity toward others and Irish gift of gab. Vaya con Dios.
