Donna Gene McMichael

Donna Gene (Traughber) McMichael was born September 20, 1946 in Spencer to S. Harold and Fern E. (Banning) Traughber. She was educated in the Spencer Community School system, graduating from Spencer High School in 1965. After high school, she attended and graduated from Larson's Beauty School in Spencer.

Jim McMichael was born August 19, 1939 in North Platte, NE to Russell and Alice (Johnson) McMichael. He graduated from Judson Academy in Scottsdale, AZ in 1958.

Jim and Donna were united in marriage on June 17, 1967 at the First Christian Church in Spencer, Iowa. Into this union were born three children: Jamie in 1972, Jennifer in 1974 and Michael in 1977.

The are survived by their children: Jamie (Mrs. Jeff) Schug of Johnston, Iowa and Jennifer and Michael McMichael, both of Spencer.

Jim's daughters: Shannon (Mrs. Craig) Sallas of Scottsdale, AZ, and Stefani (Mrs. Gary) Gomber of Peoria, AZ.

Donna's daughters: Laurie (Mrs. John) Garrison of Andover, KS and Alisa (Mrs. Rob) Roberson of Newton, KS.

Thirteen grandchildren: Devin and Trystin Stille of Spencer; Tanisha McMichael of Des Moines, IA; Brett, Marshall and Shantel Sallas of Scottsdale, AZ; Logan, Kaitlyn and Hope Gombar of Peoria, AZ; Bethany and Jay Garrison of Andover, KS and Tory and Alex Roberson of Newton, KS.

They are also survived by Donna's brother, Tom Traughber and his wife, Kathy of Sheldon and Donna's sister, Becky Hannon and her friend, Gary Gilchrist of Spencer; Jim's sister, Dana Pascoe of North Platte, NE; other relatives and many friends.

They were preceded in death by all four sets of grandparents and both sets of parents.
