A. J. Seeman, 51, of Gillett Grove, Dies

Lived in County All His Life; Rites Held Sunday

Albert Seeman, 51, of Gillett Grove, resident of Clay county during his entire life, died last Thursday, January 10, 1935, at the Spencer Hospital following two years of failing health.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at one o'clock at the home, and at 1:30 o'clock at the M. E. church in Webb, Rev. Carl Hammer, pastor, officiating. Interment was in Riverside cemetery at Spencer.

Albert John Seeman was born August 11, 1883, on a farm south of Greenville, being 51 years, four months and 29 days of age at the time of his death. He was one of six children, one dying several years ago. Sisters and brothers surviving are Mrs. Minnie Roarebeck and Mrs. Floy Zenor of Spirit Lake, Mrs. Anna Durant of St. Louis, Mo., and Carl Seeman of Des Moines.

Four Children

He was united in marriage with Miss Ella Fisk of Rossie, March 21,1906. To this union four children were born, Wilbur Seeman, who lives at Windom, Minn.; Lee Seeman, who is farming the old Seeman home place six miles west of Gillett Grove, and Waldton and Vivian, who reside at the parental
home. Besides Mrs. Seaman, there are also four grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Seeman moved to the farm, two miles south of Gillett Grove, which the family now occupies, 25 years ago.

Cherished by Many

Mr. Seeman had been in robust health until two years ago when his health began to fail. For a time he was seemingly recovering until this fall when he grew steadily worse. Mr. Seeman was well thought of in the Gillett Grove and Webb communities, where he has a host of friends. His integrity, uprightness and responsibility of obligation to his home, family and friends made for himself and esteemed place in the hearts of all who knew him.
