Elmer, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Ira H. Sargent, of Spencer, Iowa, died recently at the home of his parents after a short illness of appendicitis. Elmer was born at Strawberry Point, Iowa, June 15, 1895, and was eleven years, two months and twenty-one days old when death came. He was a bright, lovable boy, and was a general favorite among his young associates. He leaves a father, mother, five brothers and two sisters to mourn his early demise. Less than a year ago Mr. and Mrs. Sargent were called upon to bury a daughter.
