May 7, 1910-June 16, 1977Funeral for Theron Vanderhoff, 67, of Dickens was held Monday morning, June 16, 1977, from Warner Chapel in Spencer.
The Rev. David Biddle officiated. Burial was at First Reformed Cemetery at Everly.
Bearers; Orville Breidinger, Allen Breidinger, Floyd Breidinger, Robert Vanderhoff, Larry Vanderhoff and Keith Vanderhoff.
Mr. Vanderhoff died Thursday, June 16, 1977, at Spencer Municipal Hospital.
He was born May 7, 1910, to Ait and Anna (Goldenstein) Vanderhoff in rural Ruthven.
On November 29, 1969, he married to Joan Jean at Rapid City, South Dakota.
Mr. Vanderhoff attended schools at Ruthven and live and farmed in the Dickens area until retiring in 1975. He continued to live at the same place after retirement.
Surviving are his widow, Joan of Dickens; a son Richard of Spencer; a daughter, Mrs. Larry (Marlene) Knudsen; six grandchildren; two brothers, Urban Vanderhoff of Aynor, South Carolina and Victor Vanderhoff of Dickens and a sister, Mrs. Nora Berrier of McKeesport, Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death his parents, his first wife, Teona (Freeburg) Vandehoff, two brothers and two sisters.
Warner Funeral Home of Spencer was in charge of arrangements.
