Hollander Rites Set Saturday

Funeral for Mrs. Emma Hollander, 72, of rural Everly will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 1969, from the Zion United Methodist Church of Spencer.

Rev. Gene Rick will officiate. Burial will be at the First Reformed Church Cemetery at Everly.

Bearers; George D. Heikens, Henry Damerow, Harlan Steuben, A.L. Long, Wendell Christianson and Vernon Smith.

Mrs. Hollander was born March 25, 1896, at Everly to Peter and Ida Kruse. She lived all her life in Clay and Dickinson Counties. She was married to Jurgen Hollander at Spencer on November 21, 1914.

Survivors include a son, Amos of Everly; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Minord Kruse of Everly; George Kruse of Jackson, Minnesota, and Evert Kruse of Wilder, Minnesota; four sisters, Mrs. Pete (Hilda) Janssen of Fulda, Minnesota; Mrs. Etta Behrends of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Mrs. Jack (Johanna) Behrends of Everly and Mrs. Ida Gerdes of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband on March 2, 1968.
