Mrs. B. Baker died at 2:35 yesterday morning (Wednesday), May 26, 1926, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. J. Hurt at Dickens, with whom she has made her home for the past 14 years. Mrs. Baker had been in ill health for some time but the direct cause of death was dropsy. She was 65 years, 6 months and 27 days old.

Mrs. Baker was born August 29, 1869, in New York state. After her marriage to Bethaniel Baker, they
homesteaded northwest of Dickens, where they lived for many years. Her husband preceded her in death 14 years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Baker were the parents of one daughter. Besides her daughter, the deceased is survived by four sisters, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services have not been definitely arranged but will be held Friday from the Earl Hurt home in Dickens. Burial will be made in the Dickens cemetery.
