Thomas J. Fallon died at the home of his brother, J.M. Fallon, in Gillett Grove township, at ten o'clock Monday evening, March 23.
Mr. Fallon was born in Clinton county, New York, May 3, 1842 and was 83 years, 10 months and 19 days old at the time of his passing.
He lived at Chicago a number of years before coming to Clay county, three years ago. He was a veteran of the Civil War having enlisted in 1863.
Mrs. Fallon preceded him in death a number of years ago. He is survived by one brother, J.M. Fallon, with whom he had made his home for the past three years.
Funeral services were held at two o'clock this afternoon at the J.M. Fallon home, in charge of Rev. Hoskens of Greenville and interment made at Rose Hill cemetery.
