Rockwell Bentley, who has been living with his sister, Mrs. C. W. Belknap, passed away last Wednesday morning.

Rockwell Bentley was born in Stockton, New York, May 7, 1835 and died Feb. 7. He was married in 1869. Shortly afterwards they moved to Michigan. He farmed for some time in Herdland township, and for a number of years lived in Sioux Rapids where he was mail carrier. In September 1913 he came to the home of his sister, Mrs. C. W. Belknap where he has since resided.
