F.A. Hanse Dies in Hospital

Milford Frederick Andrew Hanse, 54, died Wednesday morning, December 15, 1964 at Spencer Municipal Hospital where he had been admitted a few hours before. Death was attributed to a heart attack.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in the First English Lutheran Church at Spencer, with the Rev. L.W. Steffen officiating. Burial was made in Riverside Cemetery.

Mr. Hanse, son of Mr. and Mrs. Olaus Hanse, was born at Morgan, Minnesota, January 20, 1910, and has lived in the area since he was four years old. He and the former, Marie Lambertus, were married June 20, 1934, near Milford.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Ivor (Norma) Reuter of Spencer, Ramona and Bonnie Hanse of Milford and Johanna at home; one son, Martin of Council Bluffs and one grandchild. Also surviving are three brothers, Ray of California, LeRoy of Garner, Everett of Peoria, Illinois and his mother, Mrs. Guy Dodd of Clear Lake.

Mr. Hanse, a long time resident of rural Milford.
