Reka Louise Schoorman Dirksen, 1885-1921

Mrs. Reiner Dirksen passed away at her home four miles north and two miles east of Everly at 5:15 Saturday evening of last week and funeral services were held at one o'clock at the home this (Wednesday) afternoon and at two o'clock at the church. Interment was made in the church cemetery.

Reeka Louise Schoorman was born in Germany in May 1885. She was 36 years of age at the time of her death which resulted shortly after she gave birth to a baby daughter. She is survived by her husband, three sons and many relatives and friends.
