Garold Kruse, 74, Everly, died Friday, October 1, 1999, at Spencer Municipal Hospital.

Funeral services were held 1:30 p.m., Monday, October 4, 1999, at Warner Chapel, Spencer.

Casket bearers; Marvin Hollander, Dale Hollander, Dan Hollander, Ronnie Kruse, Bob Kruse, Karl Kruse, Cory Hollander and Mike Smith.

Burial was a First Reformed Church Cemetery in Everly. Warner Funeral Home of Spencer was in charge of the arrangements.

Garold Minor Kruse, the son of Minord and Onita Grace (Edmunds) Kruse, was born June 29, 1925, in Lake Park. He received his early education in Lake Park before his family moved to Everly. It was there he finished his education.

Following high school, Mr. Kruse was employed by the Everly Theatre and Milford Drive-In. He also worked several years as a truck driver, school bus driver and most recently, he had worked for the City of Spencer in the Sanitation Department until his retirement.

He is survived by one brother Darrel Kruse of Estherville; four sisters; Vera Keltz of Spencer, Charlotte Bonnstetter of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Leona Smith of Linden and Arlen Smith of Adel.
