Lucinda Stewart was born in the County of Donnegal, Ireland, Dec. 17, 1825, came to America at the age of 12 years and settled at Freeport, Ill. She was married to Justice Wilson, who passed away in the 1856, leaving her with two children, Mrs. Clara McMullen and Dewit Wilson, who reside at Decorah, Iowa. She was married again in 1858 to Helon Wetmore, who with two sons, Seymour of Redwood Falls, Minn., and Thomas of Everly, survive her. She united with the Church of Christ in 1899 and died Aug. 20, 1914, at the age of 88 years, 8 months and 2 days. The funeral was held at her late home and conducted by Rev. Pence. Interment was made in Everly cemetery.
