November 15, 1902-March 19, 1986Elsie Deal, 83, of Cambridge, Minnesota, formerly of Everly, died Wednesday, March 19, 1986, at the Cambridge Health Care Center,
Funeral services were Friday at the Carlson Funeral Home in Cambridge and burial was Saturday at the Lone Tree Cemetery in Everly.
Mrs. Deal was born in Everly on November 15, 1902. After high school, she attended the Iowa State Teachers College for two years.
In May, 1928, she married Harry Deal and together taught school in several small Iowa towns. In 1935, they moved to Brainerd, Minnesota, where they lived until 1974. Mrs. Deal had been a resident of the Cambridge Health Care Center since 1980
She was preceded in death by her husband; and two brothers, Survivors include two daughters, Leah Tingblad of Cambridge and Norma Svendsen of Lynwood, Western Australia; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
