Everett Palmer Boyles
July 7, 1890-January 25, 1975

Funeral services for Everett Palmer Boyles, 84, of Everly were held January 27, 1975 at 2 p.m. at Hope Lutheran Church in Everly. Pastor Roger Hanson officiated at the services.

He died January 25, 1975 at Hartley Community Hospital.

Bearers; James Anderson, Allen Boyles, Shannon Boyles, David Foxhoven, Richard Larson and Thomas Larson.

Burial was in Lone Tree Cemetery in Everly.

Mr. Boyles was born July 7, 1890 in O'Brien County, a son of James and Denice (DeMars) Boyles. He married Maude Twogood in Everly on December 3, 1916. He was retired from work at the city scales and was a member of the Everly Fire Department.

Survivors include his wife, Maude; three sons, Judson and Delbert Boyles of Everly and Jimmie Boyles of Spirit Lake; three daughtersm Mrs. Alvin (Donna) Larson of Milford, Mrs. Al (Mary) Foxhoven of Arnolds Park and Mrs. Charles (ParmaGean) Lackie of Dubuque, 22 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Three sisters also survive, Mrs. Carl (Lilly) Killmer of Spencer, Mrs. Della VanDuran of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Florence Herr of St. Paul, Minnesota. He was preceded in deathe by his parents, two sons, Everett Jr. and Robert and four brothers.

Warner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
