March 4, 1900-August 18, 1975

Funeral services will be August 21, 1975, for Curtis Boylan, 75, of Spencer, who died August 18, 1975 at Longhouse Residence.

Services will be at 11 a.m. at the Hope Lutheran Church, Everly, with Pastor Roger Hanson officiating.

Bearers will be Roy Dirks, Otto Koehnk, Ken Steffen, Melvin Jensen, Fred Adrian and William Gibbs.

Burial will be in Lone Tree Cemetery, Everly, with Warner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Boylan, son of Louis and Anna (Siebel) Boylan, was born March 4, 1900 in Spencer. He moved with his parents to North Dakota in 1907 where he received his education. The family moved to Minnesota for four years and then to Spencer. In 1929 he married Minnie Henrietta Krambeck at Royal. In 1936 he moved to Everly where he was in the produce business for many years. He was retired at the time of his death.

Survivors include his sisters; Josephine, Mrs. James Fisher of Des Moines and Maxine Boylan of Des Moines.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1973, his parents, one brother and two sisters.
