Lena Christina (Paulsen) Adrian
February 8, 1892 - April 11, 1976

Funeral for Mrs. Lena Adrian, 84, of Everly was held Wednesday (April 14, 1976) morning from Hope Lutheran Church in Everly.

Pastor Roger Hansen officiated. Burial was at Lone Tree Cemetery at Everly.

Bearers were Arvin Schmidt, Elmer Nath, Delmer Struve, Waldo Hansen, Raymond Tesch and Orville Koechert.

Mrs Adrian died last Sunday (April 11,1976) at St. Luke's Lutheran Home in Spencer.

She was born February 8, 1892, to John H. and Maria (Heuer) Paulsen in Sioux County, Iowa

On February 25, 1914, she was married to Max Adrian at Spencer.

At an early age, she moved with her parents south of Royal where she received her education. After her marriage, the couple farmed in the Everly community. She had remained on the farm with her son until a week before her death.

Surviving are three sons, Fred Adrian of Everly; Wilbert Adrian of Moneta, and Marvin Adrian of Arleta, California; a daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Dorothy) Ellis of Des Moines; seven grandchildren; a brother, Harry Paulsen of Spencer and a sister, Mrs. Marie Steuben of Everly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, six brothers and a sister.

Warner Funeral Home of Spencer was in charge of arrangements.
