The youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Heikens became very ill on Sunday of last week and died on Friday. His death was due to lockjaw caused by running a splinter in his foot. He was a very bright lovable child about six years of age, and the parents have the sympathy of the entire community. Services were held at the house at one o'clock Saturday, conducted by Rev. Decker, and again at the German church conducted by the pastor of that church. Interment was made in Summit cemetery.
