Death of Mrs. Crozier
Mrs. Eliza Crozier died at her home in Spencer Sunday night after a short illness. Mrs. Crozier was born at Batavia, New York. She was reared at Coldwater, Michigan, coming about 1879 to Des Moines. She became a resident of Spencer in 1902. She was a fine lady and possessed many friends.
A short funeral service was held at the home of Mrs. H.W. Smith Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. E.E. Day, and the interment was in Douglas township cemetery.

DEATH OF MRS. CROZIER
Mrs. Eliza Crozier, wife of Samuel Crozier, died Sunday evening, after a brief illness. Sunday morning she had a stroke of paralysis, soon after becoming unconscious, and passed away the same evening. Mrs. Crozier had previously had two paralytic strokes, which had so enfeebled her that she was unable to rally from the third. Deceased was born at Batavia, New York, was reared at Coldwater, Michigan, and in 1879 moved to Des Moines. She became a resident of Spencer in 1902. She was about eighty years old when death relieved her of bodily ills. Short funeral services, conducted by Rev. E.E. Day, were held at the home of Mrs. H.W. Smith Tuesday at 1 o'clock p.m., and the remains taken to Douglas Center cemetery for burial.
