Old Settler Dead
C. O. Harris, who has been living in Spencer during the winter months with his sister, Mrs. E. Wetherbee, dropped dead early yesterday morning at Miller's Bay, Okoboji. Mr. Harris spends the summer months at the lakes, and he had just come in with a row boat, stepped on the shore and was seen to fall by people some distance away. When they reached him he was dead. Mr. Harris was a man highly spoken of by all who knew him.

[Born May 3, 1842. Died November 13, 1910. served in Company I, Wisconsin 16th Infantry Regiment during the Civil War.]
