Carrie Margrethe Lund, a former resident of this county, died Feb. 21 in home at White, South Dakota. She was born in Schleswig, Germany, in 1876, and came to Peterson, this county, in 1891. She was married in 1986 [sic] to Nels Lund. They moved to South Dakota in 1901. Mrs. Lund is survived by her husband, seven sons, two daughters, seven sisters, two brothers and her parents, Mr. and. Mrs. Claus Hagedorn, of Royal. Funeral services were held at Peterson and interment was made in Willow Creek cemetery.
