Barker, Exie Gladys, 86 yrs old died November 18, 1997 at St. Lukes Lutheran Home in Spencer, Iowa. Born: June 15, 1911 in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Parents: Frank and Etta Mae Schumacher Seitz. Married: David Barker in Creston, Iowa on March 1, 1934. Survivors include: her husband of Spencer; a son, James of Marshall, Minnesota; four daughters, Mary Alice Harris of Beloit, Wisconsin, Martha Jo Barker of Newton, Iowa, Jeanne Coman of St. Charles, Illinois, and Mrs. Andrew (Catherine) Hack of Janesville, Wisconsin; one sister, Mrs. Larry (Mary) Marshall of Grand Junction, Colorado. Interment at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer, Iowa.
