John Kruse, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Kruse of Westport township, Dickinson county, passed away Saturday, April 30, 1927, at the State Hospital at Cherokee at the age of thirty-two years, four months and seven days.

The deceased was born in Clay county December 19, 1894, and has lived in practically the same vicinity except for the past eight years which have been spent in Cherokee.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 4, at two o'clock at the Evangelical church near Fostoria with the Rev. Tieber in charge. Interment was made in the First Reformed cemetery.

Besides his mother, Mrs. Peter Kruse, he is survived by ten brothers and sisters, Peter and George of Minnesota, Minord of Lake Park, Mrs. T. Jensen of Reading, Minnesota, Mrs. Jurgen Hollander, Mrs. Gwlke Behrens and Mrs. George Behrens of near the family home and Everett, Herman and Ida at home.
