Former Spencer Man Dead.
The many Spencer friends of Mr. and Mrs. Jas. McCaddams will be pained to learn of the death of Mr. McCaddams which occurred on Sunday, December 13, 1914, at his old home in New York state. Mr. McCaddams was born in Struben county, New York, on March 1853 and was at the time of his death sixty-one years of age. He was a quiet unobtrusive man, devoted to his home and family and during his many years residence in Spencer proved himself to be an honest, upright man. About three years ago the family moved to New York where they have since made their home. Brights disease was the immediate cause of his death. Spencer people generally unite in extending deep sympathy to the bereaved widow and son.
