Charles E. Bowman, formerly of this city, passed away last week at his home in Deadwood, S. D. following a severe attack of pneumonia. The funeral was at held at his home in Deadwood and on Tuesday of this week the body was interred in the cemetery at Dell Rapids, S. D., beside his wife. He is survived by a son and daughter living at Deadwood. He also leaves a father, W. P. Bowman of this city, two brothers, Henry of Sundance, Wyo., and Wilber of Mason City, Iowa, three sisters, Ella of Spencer, Mrs. Hattie Purdy of La Harpe, Ill., and Mrs. K. C. McDonald of Fremont, Nebr.
