Mrs. Guy Fisk, living with her family near Jeffers, Minnesota, and a former Clay county resident, died on April 18, 1923, at her home following an illness of several weeks with pneumonia. Mrs. Fisk gave birth to a baby son three days before her death and this left her In such a weakened condition that she was unable to fight longer for her life.
Mrs. Fisk, before her marriage was Sadie Anna Tripp, and was born in Ruthven, November 20, 1885. She graduated from the Ruthven high school and later took a course in domestic science at Iowa state college at Ames. She was married February 22, 1911, to Guy Harold Fisk of Rossie and for six years they made their home on a farm near Rossie. For the past few years they have made their home on a farm in Minnesota.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Fisk is survived by four children, Floyd Foster, Florence Anna-Belle, Harold Homer and Charles Robert, the infant son. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Anna Tripp, and three brothers, Howard of Ruthven, Chester of Dickens, and Harry of Flatwillow, Montana.
Funeral services were held from the home at Jeffers, after which the body was brought to Ruthven and further services conducted Saturday, April 21, conducted by Rev. Flllebrown, assisted by the Rev. Harve of Windom, Minnesota. Interment was made at Crown Hill cemetery, Ruthven.
