PEACEFULLY PASSED AWAY

Mrs. W. C. Jones, who had been an invalid for many years, passed to eternal rest early Tuesday morning. While in delicate health for many years, it was only during the week preceding her death that she was noticeably worse, which was known only to her most intimate neighbors and friends. She bore bravely and patiently her long illness until passing into the slumber of death. She was a noble woman—kind, unselfish and most devoted to family and friends. Pleasant memories of her will live long with those who knew her well.

Nannie Bishop was born March 15, 1851, at Lancaster, Kentucky, and was married to W. C. Jones at Riper City, Ill., March 4, 1873. To this union were born three daughters, two of whom, Mrs. E.R. Bender, of Dickens, and Miss Ella Jones, of this city, survive her. She is also survived by her husband, one brother and two sisters. Funeral service will be held at the home at 4 o'clock this afternoon.
