Horace Truman Howe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lorenza Howe, was born at Tonica, Ill., August 14, 1869. He was married to Miss Alice Thorgeson September 21st, 1905. Two children were born to this union, Hazel age six years and Truman Harold three years.

Mr. Howe died July 28, 1916. The funeral services were conducted last Sunday morning at the M. E. church. In the absence of Rev Wolcott, the pastor, Rev. Long, pastor of the Congregational church preached the funeral sermon.
