Anita Joyce (Davidson) Hott was born on Monday; November 18, 1935 in Spencer; Clay County, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in the Ruthven; Palo Alto County, Iowa and Dickens; Clay County, Iowa area, where she received her education graduating from Ruthven High School in 1953. Anita married Richard Hott on Wednesday; March 28, 1956 in Spencer, Iowa. Following their marriage, they lived in the Dickens, Iowa area for many years. She worked as a Telephone Operator for N.W. Bell for 10 years, did clerical work for Wells Blue Bunny for 9 years. She also was City Clerk in Dickens for 9 years and worked at Economy Insurance for 4 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Dickens, Iowa. Anita Joyce (Davidson) Hott, age 73, passed away on Sunday; February 15, 2009 at the Spencer Hospital in Spencer, Iowa. Those left to mourn her passing are: Her two sons: Terry Richard (Renee) Hott of Milford; Dickinson County, Iowa and Kent Alan (Jolene) Hott of Dearborn; Platte County, Missouri. Her four grandchildren and her five great-grandchildren. Her one sister: Janet (Richard) Westergard of Graettinger; Palo Alto County, Iowa. Also other relatives and a host of many friends. Anita was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Richard Hott and her sister: Twyla Carlini. May they rest in peace. Visitation will be from: 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday; February 17, 2009 at the funeral home. Funeral services will begin at: 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday; February 18, 2009 also at the funeral home with the Reverend Paul Hansen officiating. Interment will be at the Dickens Cemetery in Dickens, Iowa.
