Mrs. Margeret Betz Hoell passed away Sunday evening in the home of her daughter at St. Louis, Mo. Funeral services were held this Wednesday at St. Louis.

Mrs. Hoell left Spencer last November after making her home here for five years with her daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Hobicht and her granddaughter, Mrs. H.A. Stephen who live on a farm seven miles south of town.

Mrs. Hoell was ninety years old at the time of her death. She was born in Germany and came to this country forty years ago. Besides her daughter, Mrs. Hobicht, she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Gauss and Mrs. Kate Trebu at St. Louis, Mo. Her husband passed away sixteen years ago. She also leaves nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. One of her granddaughters, Miss Elizabeth Hobocht, lives near Spencer.

Mrs. Elizabeth Hobicht left Monday afternoon for St. Louis to attend the funeral.
