Catherine J. Preston, 78, Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Spencer, died Saturday, Dec. 26, 1998, in Mesa.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 30, at Melchers Chapel of the Roses, Mesa, with the Rev. G.H. Ebright officiating.

Casket bearers were Chad Preston, Jason Roundtree, Steven Preston, Derek Preston, Paul Preston and Mark Preston.

Burial was at City of Mesa Cemetery.

Catherine J. Preston was born July 2, 1920, in Spencer, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cuttell.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Catherine is survived by three sons, Skip, Thomas and David Preston, all of Mesa; a daughter, Barbara Roundtree, also of Mesa; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Robert Cuttell of Everly and David Cuttell of Wahpeton.
