Frances Tucker was born to Robert and Grace Tucker Dec. 19, 1903 at Canton, S.D. Her death July 9 followed a prolonged illness.

Her marriage to Ralph Nelson took place at Sioux Falls, S.D., Feb. 15, 1924 and to this union two sons were born. They are John R. Nelson and R. Thomas Nelson of Spencer.

Mr. and Mrs. Nelson came to Spencer 31 years ago and since that time owned and operated the Nelson Jewelry Store.

Survivors besides her husband and two sons include two grandchildren; and two sisters, Miss Roberta Tucker of Chicago and Mrs. George B. McMahon of Grand Rapids, Mich.

Funeral services were held Saturday at Warner Funeral Home with the Rev. H. James Graham officiating. Organist was Mrs. Lowell Hagedorn. Interment was in Riverside cemetery.

Pallbearers were James Morony, Roger Poole, Jerry Olin, Robert Howe, Leo Steffen and James Mills.
