Friday Rites for Agnes Peterson

Funeral for Mrs. Agnes V. Peterson, 68, of Spencer will be at 2 p.m. Friday from the new Trinity Lutheran church in Spencer.

Rev. Eugene Cedarholm will officiate. Burial will be at Riverside cemetery.

Mrs. Peterson died Tuesday at Spencer Municipal hospital.

She was born Dec. 13, 1900, to Peter and Christina Ericson Mark at Slayton, Minn. She was married to Edwin L. Peterson Oct. 9, 1929, at Estherville. The couple lived at Slayton until moving to Spencer 40 years ago.

Mrs. Peterson was a member of the Trinity Lutheran church and active in women's groups of that church.

She is survived by her widower, Edwin; a daughter, Mrs. LaVonne McCrill of Storm Lake; two grandchildren; two brothers, Arvid and Oscar Mark, both of Slayton, Minn,; and a sister, Mrs. Edla Woodward of Estherville.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Friends may call at Warner Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Wednesday.
