Baby Arlene Rachael, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Homer Maurer living south of Spencer, was born Friday, March 2, but lived only a few days. It passed away late Monday afternoon. A short prayer service was held yesterday morning at ll o'clock at the Maurer home, Rev. Father M. C. Wendl of the Sacred Heart church officiated.

The bereaved parents and little daughter Barbara Frances, have the deepest sympathy of their many friends and relatives. Mrs. Maurer will be remembered as Miss Zelda Anderson before her marriage.
