This community was shocked by the sudden death of Alfred West who died of pneumonia Tuesday morning at five o'clock after an illness of less than a week's duration. The funeral services were held in the Christian church Wednesday forenoon at 10 o'clock and interment made in the Everly cemetery. Al, was born July 11, 1876, and was in his 22nd year. He was a genial, companionable young man and numbered his friends by the breadth of his acquaintance. Deceased leaves a father, mother and sister to mourn his untimely end.
