Walley, Mavis La Rue, born September 6, 1925 in Greenville, Iowa, passed away August 8, 2003, at home in La Habra, California of cancer. She was 77. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother and is survived by husband, Jack; daughter Marla Lombard; son John Steinke and wife Laurie, and their children, Michelle, Nicole and David. She worked as a real estate broker for more than 30 years before her retirement in 2002. She was an active member of her church, volunteering in the tutoring program for children.

Memorial services to be held Wednesday, August 13, 2003 at 1 p.m. at La Habra United Methodist Church. 631 N. Euclid Street, La Habra, California, 90631.
