FUNERAL OF MRS. FRED HABERMAN HELD SATURDAY
Funeral services for Mrs. Fred Haberman were held Saturday, June 30, 1962 at 2:00 p.m. in the Trinity Lutheran Church at Royal with the Rev. R. Paul Firnhaber officiating. A quartette composed of Mr. and Mrs. Kaylan Abel, Mrs. Richard Garms and Marvin Bomgarn sang "Rock of Ages" accompanied by Mrs. Abel.
Pallbearers were: Steven Petersen, Phillip Petersen, Stanley Schoelerman, Carl Williams, Arnold Kruse and Orlan Steffen. Interment was made in Lone Tree Cemetery at Everly, Iowa, under the direction of the Warner Funeral Home of Spencer, Iowa.
She leaves to morun her passing from this life, her husband, Fredrick, a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Haberman of Mallard; two daughters, Kathleen and Ruth Ann; one grandchild, her mother Mrs. Martha Petersen of Spencer; a brother, Mr. Julius Pertersen of Spencer; a sister, Mrs. Helen Kuhlman of Charter Oak in addition of many numerous relatives and friends.
OBITUARY
Florence Edith Haberman, daughter of Christian Petersen and his wife Martha Nee Brugman, was born near Everly on September 25,1902. She was baptized into the Christian faith on December 8, 1907 and confirmed into the Lutheran Church June 21, 1925, both in Everly.
On March 19,1930 she entered the estate of holy matrimony with Fredrick Habeman, the ceremony taking place in Des Moines, Iowa. God blessed this union with four children: David, born May 21, 1938 (who died at the age of 1 day), Roger, born September 20, 1939, Kathleen, born March 28, 1942 and Ruth Ann, born November 18, 1944.
On Wednesday of this past week, she entered her eternal rest, after suffering a stroke several days before. She attained the age of 59 years, 9 months and 2 days.
