Wesley Adolph DeWall, Spencer business man died suddenly Sunday morning at his home from a heart attack. He had worked Saturday evening at the DeWall Produce station until midnight as usual and had gone to bed in the usual good health. He had been in business for himself here for about 15 years and prior to that was employed by Fiedler and Duree.
Funeral plans are pending word from the sons in the service. Sgt. Leonard DeWall who is stationed with the army in Mississippi is enroute home. Word has not come from Pvt. Virgil DeWall who is with the army in California. The third son, Donald, seaman second class with the marines, is on Saipan Island.
Other immediate survivors include his wife and their small daughter Bonnie at home; his parents Hie DeWall of northwest Spencer; four sisters namely Mrs. O. Sohoorman, Mrs. Glen Shatto, Mrs. E. H. Bleeker all of Spencer and Mrs. H. D. Pollock of Chicago.
Rev. C. O. Locken of the Baptist church will have charge of the service and will be assisted by Rev. Raymond Bjork of the Evangelical church west of Fostoria

Last rites for W. A. DeWall, who died suddenly Sunday at his home from a heart attack, will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock at the Cobb Funeral Home. The Rev. C. O. Loken of the Baptist church, assisted Rev. Raymond Bjork of the Evangelical church west of Fostoria, will officiate.
Two of the three sons in the service will be here for the funeral. Sgt. Leonard DeWall of Camp Shelby, Miss. has already arrived in Spencer, Pvt. Virgil DeWall is en route from Camp Beal, California. Donald DeWall S 2nd class is on Saipan and will be unable to be here.
Burial will be made at North Lawn Memorial cemetery. The Cobb Funeral Home is in charge.
