Charles Bryant, son of John and Mary Bryant, was born in Osceola, Iowa, Feb. 27, 1872 and passed away November 27, 1948 at the age of 76 years and 9 months.

He lived in Osceola until about 1897 when he moved to Des Moines where he lived the remainder of his life. He followed in his father's trade as a plasterer all of his life until he fell while at work on October 29 of this year. He has since lingered in hospitals but never recovered from this injury.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister. He leaves to mourn his death; two brothers, Roy and George, both of Omaha, Nebraska.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Charles Bryant, 76, brother of the late Frank (Haley) Bryant of Osceola will be held from the Webster Funeral Home Wednesday at 2:00 p.m., with the Rev Lloyd Latta of the First Methodist Church officiating.

Bryant died at the hospital in Clarinda, Saturday. Surviving are two brothers, George and Roy of Omaha and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Bessie Wesley of Osceola.
Burial will be in Maple Hill cemetery.
