Frank W. Peniston, 39, of 5614 34th Ave., Moline, was dead on arrival Saturday evening at Moline Public Hospital. Death was attributed to an apparent heart attack.

Mr. Peniston was born in Osceola, Iowa. He married Patty West, August 28, 1957, in Las Vegas, Nev.

He had been employed as a supervisory inventory management specialist for the Army Weapons Command for 15 years.

Mr. Peniston was a former adjutant of Marshall Brown Post No. 482, American Legion, Davenport. He was a Coast Guard veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Survivors are the widow; his mother, Mrs. Delia Belle Peniston in Kansas; a daughter, Victoria, and a son, Keven, both of San Diego, California; four brothers, Cecil of Oskaloosa, Iowa, Robert and Earnest, both of Muscatine, Iowa, Eugene of Stillwater, Oklahoma; a sister Mrs. Marjorie Corine Peeples, East Moline; a half-sister, Mrs. Dorothy Mae Allen of Triplett, Missouri.

Arrangements are pending at Esterdahl Mortuary, where friends may call after 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials may be made to the Illinois Heart Association.
